In loving memory of Alicia Ross

Adam's Eulogy for Alicia

I remember the last time I saw Alicia. We had gone out to see a movie with my brother Jamie. We laughed, we had fun, and after the movie she drove me home and said "I want to see you before you go to overnight camp". At that time it was the end of July and I was going to overnight camp on August the 2nd 2005. She pulled her car out of the driveway, and I never saw her again.

I remember the day at camp when I got a letter from Alicia saying:

“HI ADAM! How is everything at camp going? What kind of stuff do you do there? Have you made tons of friends yet? We all miss you very much, but we are happy that you are so brave to go and stay overnight at camp! Before you know it, you will be back in school again, so HAVE LOTS OF FUN! The city is so boring; I wish I was at camp with you! Jamie says 'Hi' and when he finds out that he can write e-mails I'm sure he'll write to you to! Write back when you get a chance, I can't wait to hear all the cool stuff you've been doing. Be safe, I love you very much! Can't wait to see you!

Alicia”

Alicia and Adam It was dated Monday, August 15th, 2005 and was sent at 5:12 P.M. I will cherish that letter forever. I can't believe that this would happen to the most beautiful girl in the world, the best sister that a boy can ever have in his life. Alicia was a sister that cared about everybody; she was kind, generous, loving, and the best person you could know. I know that that she will watch over me and the rest of the family. I know that you're up there with Daddy, Zaida, Meme (my mother's mother) and Pepe (my mother's father).

Daddy, I know that Alicia loved you and you loved her so much, so please do one thing for me and take our Alicia and please make sure she gets A LOT of Maki Mowi - oops I mean Macaroni.

Alicia didn't deserve this and I'll always miss you! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! I almost forgot one thing before I go - a piece of the fluff (from the sofa) you loved to hold. This is for you Alicia. You will stay in our hearts for ever! And know this on behalf of my entire family: from my brothers Stephan, Jamie, Shawn and Andrew, to Trisha and Randi; from my mother Anna to Sharon and Julie: We will never stop missing you and we will never stop supporting everything you cared so much for. Good Bye my loving sister!

Adam
